Premature Ejaculation and Evaluation with PEDT Test
Premature ejaculation (PE) is one of the most common sexual dysfunctions in men. The inability to control the timing of ejaculation can negatively impact sexual satisfaction for both the individual and their partner. The root cause of the problem can be psychological factors (stress, performance anxiety) or biological factors (nerve sensitivity, hormonal imbalances).
What is a PEDT Test?
The Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool (PEDT) is a five-question assessment used to diagnose premature ejaculation. This test helps determine the severity of the problem and guides individuals toward appropriate treatment.
Examples of PEDT Questions:
1. How often do you experience uncontrolled ejaculation?
2. How common is it that you ejaculate before satisfying your partner?
3. How much does it bother you if your ejaculation time is shorter than you expected?
Evaluation:
• 0-8 Points: Normal
• 9-10 Points: Borderline
• 11+ Points: Premature Ejaculation Problem
